Last week I was so lucky to have been invited to attend the F+F AW14 Fashiow show by Maverick Publicity at Somerset house.
♡
As the invitation dropped into my inbox I was left with a beaming smile as I have never been to a fashion show before. Not a proper one anyway, (one that doesn’t involve me and my bedroom).
The first thing that ran through my mind was WHAT AM I GOING TO WEAR.
I would not claim to be a ‘fashionista’. I love clothes OBVIOUSLY but if you were to ask me ‘what are the current trends’ I would probably have no idea but to turn to Instagram.
So I had to turn my clothes brain on for this one…
Coat – Karen Millen
Black midi skirt – Primark (New in)
Rings – Pandora
Nail Varnish – Rimmel
I had never actually been to Somerset House before either, and what a beautiful surprise it was.
(Anything that’s lit up pink would get my approval.)
Any event that hands out champagne gets my approval also…
So as you can imagine the night was going wonderfully well already…
We had arrived fashionably… early 🙂
Paparazzi swamped many a celebrity that were also attending the event, pretty intense just watching if im honest!
Each and every one dressed immaculately in the most beautiful brands.
And there was me tucking into a burger.
Mini though… I was forced to be delicate about it…
Champagne and canopes circled the room as we all got to mingle. Pretty surreal as everyone was so friendly and treated equally, so we found ourselves chatting to the likes of mr Tinchy Stryder.
I had invited Gill from Styled Rose and Sarah from That Pommie Girl with me so that I wasn’t all alone 🙂
They both have fashion blogs so if you’re into fashion definitely head over and check them out…
After an hour of mingling, the doors to the fashion show were opened and we all took our seats.
Tesco’s F+F range is one of those ranges I wouldn’t particularly be drawn straight to when I think, ‘I need new clothes’.
However, whenever i walk past the clothes in store I am actually always drawn to something and have made some very very good purchases there!
The clothes were beautiful – some really gorgeous fur coats and sparkly black jumpsuits. There was also a black dress with a beautiful back on it that stood out to me.
I will definitely be popping down when the brown fur coat makes it into store 🙂
We were given goodie bags with some bits and bobs in, NOTE: the fragrance smells SO good. Don’t be fooled because it’s not labelled with Dior.
I want to say a massive thank you to Holly at Maverick publicity for inviting me to the show, I had such a lovely experience and it has actually ignited my love for fashion.

I was blessed to have been graced with her presense. RIP Peaches ♡
