My Favourite Health Cafes in Australia
As a general lifestyle choice, i try and keep the majority of my diet clean and free from too many preservatives, saturated fats, processed meats etc. I like to eat freshly prepared meals and where possible, i will always try to cook for myself.
Travelling and socialising can mean coming face to face with alcohol and dining out on a regular basis and so, seeing as i dont want to turn these pleasures down, I make sure I balance the other 90% of my diet with goodness.
Travelling though can throw a spanner in the works at times when you are tired / in a rush / in the middle of nowhere and can lead you to convenience foods (usually bad choices).
Australia, on the other hand, seems to be one step ahead of the rest of the world and has just as many raw treats in corner shops as they do chocolate. Happy days.
In abundance, Australia also has the most gorgeous selection of healthy living eateries dotted all over the map. This means that eating out in a healthy, beneficial way becomes easier than ever in Australia.
During my recent visit to Australia, i noted down some of my favourites eatery finds so that, should you find yourself down under, you can give them a whirl too…
My Favourite Health Cafes In Australia…
1. Bohemian Raw, Airlee Beach
My recommendation: The Boho Bowls! {Nuttalicious + Green Machine}, all the raw treats in the fridge!

2. Cafe One, Airlee Beach
My recommendation: The Acai Bowl
3. Bonsai Botanika, Brisbane
My recommendation: The Chemex Coffee Brew {they are known for them} and the Matcha Green Tea Latte {with the not so good cream on top}
4. Naked Treaties, Byron Bay
My recommendation: Lucuma Bowl. The most random health bowl I’ve ever had, but certainly one of the yummiest and most unique. A great escape from the Açai bowl – should you ever need it.

My recommendation: the ‘Two poached vegan egg, saffron hollaindaise, corn fritters, fried cauliflower + crispy kale’ from their #NOFILTER menu, the matcha pancakes too!
