Koh Lanta
…but all we got was a washed up ginormous chicken nugget.
At this time of year it’s classed as low season and most of the beach bars and resorts are now shut. Koh Lanta is known for being quiet anyway but we hadn’t expected it to be this quiet.
Leanne went for cheese on toast… although I’m not sure you can even call it that?!
I have no idea what these things are called but I now refer to them as the mini Cornish pasty. They are a local delicacy- a little pastry with a nutty sweet filling which is so yum!!! 10 baht for a pack which is about 22p!
We got a little restless and a little hungry so we grabbed a moped and hunted down somewhere to eat. We rode down lots of beach roads to find 80% of restaurants shut for the low season…
closest thing to exercise I’ve seen in a while!
Long beach
They asked for a photo of us so it was only polite to take one of them…
Little picnic on the beach:-)
…BEST PART.
Then we took our own postcard photos, Leanne- the cameras this way!!!!!
That’s the one…
Dizzy dinosaurs…
As we returned to our resort a Thai man approached us.
Our resort was in the PERFECT spot so we lay for a couple of hours and watched it go down.
Leanne and I were literally like two kids the night before you go on holiday to Disney. We were that excited to get back to Koh phi phi!
5 weeks down- 4 weeks left 🙂
