Year of 24: My 24 favourite travel memories

When it comes to my birthday or the New Year, I always like to take a moment to reflect on the year that has just been.

The last few years of my life have been an absolute whirlwind of airports, adventures and good times and it’s definitely hard to remember all the tiny details at a glance. When going through my year of being 24 a few weeks ago I realised that pretty much every highlight was in a location that I had written a blog post for.

So as a bit of travel inspiration for you, I thought i’d create a blog post filled with the 24 places and adventures that took the spotlight for me this year.

Apologies for any spontanous flights booked whilst / after reading this post. Hehehe.

Here are my 24 favourite travel memories from my year of 24…

1. Having a cosy UK weekend away in a shepherd’s hut

A winter weekend full of the sound of the birds and leaves rustling was just the escape we needed from our hectic lives in London and was filled with an abundance of fresh air, cosy knits and cups of tea.

My favourite rock formation in the Australian outback is the Kata Tjuta (The Olga’s) – a collection of 36 ‘sandstone giants’ – when lit by the sunrise / sunset – you’re in for a viewing and a half, and hiking through them was so surreal.
